Unfortunately it has been said that the plane was only at an altitude of 8,000 feet. Under 10,000 it likely wasn’t fully pressurized and you don’t lose consciousness that low. If they weren’t knocked out by the initial blast I’m afraid they would have experienced the full fall.

TOR missile system can be set to automatic to defend itself against incoming missiles and bombs it can attack 48 targets at the same time and launch missiles from other TORs. It hit the plane a few mins after take off I cant see how the TOR crew would of had time to decide and get permission to hit it.

Clearly the guy smoking the cig knew what was about to go down..whether it's iranian plant or CIA. I just find it weird how they sent the video to the NYT so fast. Makes me think American? Either way, innocent people are dead because of this stupidity.

At least they are putting the bodies in body bags. Ukraine may need to refrain from acting too appalled and indignant about this. They left the bodies lying around for a while and robbed them after they shot a plane down by accident.

Those missiles were launched earlier. I used a sound/distance calculator and from the hit until sound it took around 11 seconds which would put him 2ish miles away. It was appx 6:30 AM and the temp was 6 c. It's very odd that he was out filming in these conditions at that time. Just my opinion. |

Maybe he was outside smoking a cig, maybe getting ready for work and saw a missile launch and started filming...?
