I kind of suspected from the get go that Iran accidentally shot the plane down.. as I'm sure we all had that suspicion.

It is strange to me though.. that as a regime that runs a very tight ship how all these photos and videos leaked? They control the internet over there and even have their own mandated web browser "Saina."

Just strange to me that some rando smoking a cig on his porch would jeopardize his life to get this video out. But.. maybe I'm thinking too much into it. Idk.

Why was that random bloak recording the sky anyways? Why didn’t he seam to react?

This wasn't the only missile launched that day, he was probably filming the others aimed at the US base and managed to catch this.

I saw a few photos on another site (no, not the one that rhymes with "guest bore"); a couple of those pics showed perforation damage (as seen elsewhere in this thread).
I said to a friend that this aircraft was shot down, and then showed him my pics of the wreckage of 9M-MRD to compare...

Accidental shootdown?

Concur with William May's IDs, except #11 & #12 are the vertical stabiliser. It has been turned over, most likely by the recovery crew searching for victims' remains.

You are correct. The damage matches to vertical in all the pics.

On the news last night, they showed parts of the tailfins and rocket casing of the missile, so I assume eventually they will have to admit that they shot the plane down themselves.

The Iranians are pretty smart, and living under a religious dictatorship is similar to living under a communist dictatorship. They do a lot of stuff that is officially banned. That is how you see Iranian porn, Iranian music videos, etc. They also do satellite internet work, also. The state can't control everything, and a lot of the population doesn't cooperate very much anyway.
