I can look up in the sky here (ORD)and almost at any given minute spot an aircraft from the 1960s....they all have regular overhaul inspections, and very few individual parts actually date from the '60s... tons of sixties era Cessnas, Pipers, 727s, dc9s in the air at all times, in the USA...in the 3rd world, it is the norm |

You know I don't think it takes to be a college graduate to understand that the plane is old and there is minimal maintenance and the pilot has not clue about the maintenance of his air craft. I am sorry to be sarcastic but what more questions could you possibly have?
