Strong Winds Move Plane at Airport in Argentina
Early on Sunday, Argentina was battered by a powerful storm, unleashing fierce winds that wrought havoc in both the capital, Buenos Aires, and the surrounding metropolitan area. With wind speeds reaching an astonishing 150 km/h, the tempest left a trail of destruction in various quarters of the city. Aeropark, the principal airport in Buenos Aires, bore the brunt of the onslaught. The relentless gales sent planes careening across the runway, while ceilings were shattered in the tumultuous weather. Video footage captured the astonishing sight of Argentinas' airplanes being moved about by the force of the wind on the runway. |

On AF jets we laced front-to-back. Wooden chocks with slots cut into the sides. B-52 chocks got a bit much to drag around.
