I don't think he was messing with a barf bag.........I think he was looking for the SkyMall catalog.........As long as you're floating there, you may as well order a "briefcase train set", or something similar.....

One advantage of a water ditching is that it automatically washes your shitty britches for you. That would be utterly terrifying.

Re: Plane Ditches into the Water Off Kalaupapa, Molokai Hawaii

Journalist says the plane went 'spiralling' into the ocean. What footage was she watching?

Spiraling? Lol NOT. That was the stall alarm, the plane simply stalled and splashed. Typical idiot journalist.

There is something wrong with that 'picture', those folks were way too calm!! Almost looked like it was staged!

Rule number 1 of an accident or other life threatening ordeal...you panic, you die.

Re: Plane Ditches into the Water Off Kalaupapa, Molokai Hawaii

I've been in a Russian piloted Boeing 737 that had a sudden engine failure halve way during takeoff causing us to stall multiple times, and I have read a lot of Vets over here on DR had even worse experiences.. In my case there was complete silence.. Everyone was holding their breath after the first drop, the only thing you could hear was the wind wisteling along the small windows and some bleeping from the Cockpit.
Nobody, really nobody made a sound.. No screaming, nothing.. Just waiting scared as fuck for impact..
Luckily for me the pilots managed to restart the engines, but it was a rough rollercoaster with five times stalling when pretty close to the ground .. Jumbojet Glider plane
