Plane Crashes During Attempted Landing in Mali
On September 23, 2023, an Ilyushin Il-76 military transport aircraft crashed at Gao International Airport in Mali after overrunning the runway. The aircraft, which landed too far down the 2,500 meters long runway, broke into several parts and caught fire upon crashing. The exact number of passengers on board is not confirmed, but it is speculated that as many as 140 people, including 7 crew members, may have been on board. Among the speculated fatalities are the aircraft's Russian pilot and a Malian lieutenant colonel. However, the exact number of casualties remains unclear. |

One of Putin's guys disconnected the cannon plug on the thrust reverser control box, and also on the brake anti-skid control box. Continuing their scrub of Wagnerites, no doubt |

Well, since they consider a good landing being one you can walk away from, this makes it a good landing, at least from my perspective. Eventually, finding a Wagnerite in Russia is going to be the same as finding a unicorn, or a leprechaun, or a non-corrupt politician. |
