Re: Jane Wicker's Bi-Plane Crash Hi-Res Photos
In all my years, I never thought I'd see photos of this high detail of a plane crashing. Especially the odds of having a wing-walker die in those photos. This seems historic. Will we ever see another set of photos like these? I doubt I'll live long enough to see this kind of rare photography again. I wish I knew more about the photographer and the equipment they used. And you can see how deadly a plane crash can be. 100 mph in a car made of strong materials crashing into other cars seems like nothing compared to 100 mph crashing into the earth with no protection except wood structure all around you...or nothing. When people point out how safe flying is, I think of what can happen to your body in even the *slowest* of planes, like this one.

Re: Jane Wicker's Bi-Plane Crash Hi-Res Photos
I heard that Kill Bill 2 (or some other film) was filmed on photo cameras instead of video cameras. They should take high-res photos many times per second are they. Maybe this show was 'filmed' with such cameras?

Re: Jane Wicker's Bi-Plane Crash Hi-Res Photos
Thank you for this post. First let me say I hope your son regains his passion and excitement for the airshows. This must have been horribly tragic to see in person as I am taken aback watching the video. I have hypothesized about this crash in other posts that it appeared to be deliberate though I could not put my finger on it as to why. We the video viewers cannot judge how close to spectators they were. It seems as though they are about 200 to 300 yards out in front of the spectators moving parallel to the crowd. So, now it becomes clear if they were heading towards innocents, Brave and selfless act it was indeed!
