That's not him, just part of the plane. Look at the size of her foot compared to what you think would be his leg. He would have to be about 2 years old or her foot is 30" heel to toe.

My husband and I are both wingnuts; our first date was the Dayton air show in 1999, and we have seen Jane walk many times before. He was there with our 8-yr old mildly autistic son and saw this crash. My son won't talk about the airshow, even the fun stuff before the crash; he normally tells me all about his day, but he just changes the subject. My motherinlaw is a child psychologist, so she is working with us to help him cope.
My hubby (ex-military) is convinced that the pilot ditched the plane when he realized he could not recover it, and was heading directly for the audience; you can see in the video that the plane suddenly pitches into the ground. He apparently selflessly deliberately ditched, killing himnself and Jane, but sparing potentially hundreds, many of them children, death or injury. Jane would have wanted him to do that too, I bet.

Rest in peace, Jane, and your quick-reflexed pilot.

With all the debris flying backwards (going to the left in the photo), suspicious its bloody and behind Wicker ... Seemed to line up with where the cock pit would be after being smashed
