Jane Wicker Wing Walker Crash: Photos & Autopsy
Authorities have tragically reported a fatal incident at an Ohio air show, where a plane carrying a wing walker crashed and erupted in flames. The Associated Press has confirmed that two lives were lost in the crash, including both the pilot and the stunt walker.

The crash unfolded during the Vectren Air Show near Dayton on a Saturday afternoon. Dayton International Airport spokeswoman Linda Hughes and Ohio State Highway Patrol Lt. Anne Ralston have independently corroborated the devastating news to The Associated Press. Thankfully, no spectators in attendance were injured during this tragic incident.

Due to the severity of the crash, the air show had to be immediately canceled for the remainder of the day. However, the names of the individuals who lost their lives have not yet been released to the public.

A scheduled performance by Jane Wicker, a renowned wing walker, was anticipated during the event. Shockingly, a video captured by WHIO-TV showed the plane performing a daring maneuver, turning upside-down while Wicker sat atop the wing. Tragically, the plane then lost control, crashed to the ground, and erupted into flames, causing onlookers to scream in horror.

While a fire dispatcher confirmed the crash to The Associated Press, further details about the pilot, wing walker, and any other occupants on board the plane were not immediately available. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries to individuals on the ground.

Efforts to obtain additional information from a spokesperson for the Vectren Air Show near Dayton are currently underway, although no response has been received at this time.
