Hammonton NJ - 2 Helos Collide
A mid air helicopter crash involving two choppers in Hammonton, New Jersey, has left one pilot dead and a second critically injured. The mid air collision happened just just after 11.25 a.m. Sunday near Basin Road and North White Horse Pike near Hammonton Municipal Airport. The two helicopters reportedly collided mid-air and crash landed. One of the helicopters burst into flames. FAA confirmed that the crash was between an an Enstrom F-28A helicopter and an Enstrom 280C and that only the pilots were on board.  |
