Gulfstream-Schweizer G-164s Collide Near Gueydan, LA
On May 22, 2023, two single-engine Gulfstream-Schweizer Gulfstream AM aircraft operated by Vincent Flying Service collided on an airstrip near Gueydan, LA. The aircraft were a G-164B, registration N8337K, and a G-164D, registration N8331K. Both sustained substantial damage. The two pilots were not injured. The cause was both pilots' failure to see and avoid each other. Contributing to the collision was their failure to announce their intentions over their radios while taking off and landing.  ·  ·  ·  ·
