Aerospatiale AS350B2 Hard Landing Near Honolulu, HI
A single-engine Aerospatiale AS350B2 helicopter, N745RH, operated by Novictor Aviation, was substantially damaged in an accident near Honolulu, HI, on May 21, 2023. The instructor pilot and the pilot receiving instruction were aboard. No injuries were reported. The accident was caused by the instructor pilot's inadequate supervision of the pilot receiving instruction, which resulted in a hard landing and substantial damage to the tail boom.  ·  ·  ·
