Re: Dallas Airshow B-17 Flying Fortress Collides With Another Plane
Fucking dummies. Darwin award. Funny how people feel sympathy for these reckless air shows, but if some street racers on motorbikes or in a camaro does it and crashes then we all agree how dumb they are. If you die from skydiving, bunjeejumping, or chugging a 60 oz of vodka, you are a moron. Darwin award issues. Same with flying airplanes around like an arrogant asshole. |

Re: Dallas Airshow B-17 Flying Fortress Collides With Another Plane
amazing how many of them fall on people's houses and unsuspecting innocent people are burned alive in their homes. Imagine the horror. Goes basically unreported except "3 died in the home" or whatever. Yeah they fucking died. Burned alive watching a football game with their kids because some asshole screwed up in a flying bomb. Yowzers.

I used to sit at this intersection EVERY DAY around 5:00 to turn right. Guess I got lucky this time: https://ktar.com/story/2184119/small...-of-2-onboard/ |

Flying a low wing airplane while in a steep left turn causes loss of visual on your right and centripetal perspectives from your aircraft.

Re: Dallas Airshow B-17 Flying Fortress Collides With Another Plane
I've played around with the image some in Photoshop. You can clearly see the copilot with his right arm up. Looks like debris ripped through the cockpit right up to his position. I'm guessing injuries were severe even before impact with the ground. Looked quite a bit but can't conclusively locate the other three from the B17. I believe the FE usually sits on the turret floor facing forward (based on reading the report regarding the one that crashed with passengers a few years ago). I'm sure he received catastrophic injuries in the collision.
