Christian Oliver, His 2 Daughters Dead After Plane Crash
A tragic incident unfolded in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (the Caribbean) involving a privately-owned United States-registered aircraft, claiming the lives of all four individuals on board shortly after takeoff from JF Mitchell Airport on Bequia Island. Reports indicate that three passengers, all residents of the United States and members of the same family, tragically lost their lives when the single-engine plane crashed near Petit Nevis. Among the victims were an adult, Hollywood actor Christian Oliver, and two children, who were vacationing on Bequia and were departing the island on that fateful day. The ill-fated flight, piloted by its captain with the three passengers, departed Bequia shortly after midday on January 4, bound for Hewanorra Airport in Saint Lucia. Following the crash, local fishermen swiftly mobilized and, in coordination with the Coast Guard, successfully retrieved the bodies of the deceased from the scene. Residents from the La Pompe community captured videos of the plane's descent until its tragic crash. Witnesses recounted that the aircraft emitted an unusual sound during takeoff. "The noise corresponded to that of a vehicle having difficulty generating enough power to go up a hill," one resident described. An aviation specialist suggested that the plane appeared to have entered a stall condition immediately after beginning its ascent. In aerodynamics and aviation, a stall occurs when an aircraft's lift decreases as the angle of attack surpasses a specific threshold. This critical angle of attack marks the precise point at which this phenomenon occurs. Should the angle of attack exceed this critical threshold, lift diminishes, causing the aircraft to descend and amplifying the angle of attack, leading to further loss of lift. Currently, the Coast Guard is en route to the mainland, carrying the recovered bodies of the victims. |

The pilot, RS, who also died in the crash, owned a scuba diving tour business on the island. Another view of the plane, a Bellanca Viking. |

In a region of bold and often garish, color-uncoordinated paint schemes, you have to set yourself apart. Whatever's on sale at the paint store, mon. |
