My initial impression (i.e. outright guess) based on information available (and blancolirio report) is that the aircraft lost pitch control somehow. No altitude stability. Horizontal stability is fine. Whatever the issue was, the aircraft still had plenty of power to climb at a good rate. Wondering about problems with the pitot/static system - blockage, contamination, etc. Also wondering if CG was too far aft. Will be interesting to see what is discovered during the investigation. |
