Cessna 177RG Crash Near Crestview, FL
A single-engine Cessna 177RG, N7542V, crashed near Crestview, FL, on April 14, 2023. The airplane sustained substantial damage, and the pilot was seriously injured. The engine lost all power in flight when the No. 1 connecting rod cap nuts loosened and separated, causing catastrophic internal engine damage.
