Re: Bodies Recovered From Lao Airlines Flight 301
That's how the Swissair flight caught fire and crashed into the atlantic ocean, video system caught fire IIRC. Passengers were melting and the pilots kept working thru their ISO-9002 checklist. RIP Swiss Air.

Crashing. Or exploding. I guess I rather explode into hundreds of pieces still up in the sky. Just a sudden explosion. I wouldn't want to realize I was about to die as we are falling from the sky in either the longest few seconds left of my life. Or the shortest few seconds left of my life. |

Re: Bodies Recovered From Lao Airlines Flight 301
I remember the shock when a forensic pathologist revealed that the victims of Pan Am Flight 103 (Lockerbie) had survived to the explosion; the fall lasted about two minutes. Among the bodies, a mother was found holding her baby, two friends were holding hands and many others were found clutching crucifixes... What an horrific way to go |
