Air Force Acrobatics Team Member Ejects Before Crash at Airshow
A tragic incident occurred during an Italian Air Force rehearsal for an aerial display in Turin on Saturday. A military jet, part of a formation preparing for a centennial celebration of the Italian Air Force, crashed into a vehicle, resulting in the death of a 5-year-old girl inside the car. The child's parents and sibling also suffered burn injuries in the tragic event. Initial findings from the investigation suggest that the aircraft collided with a flock of birds, causing some of the birds to be ingested by the jet's engine, leading to the crash. Footage captured at the scene shows nine Air Force demonstration team aircraft flying in two V formations when one jet abruptly plummeted and struck the ground, erupting in a massive fireball. The pilot managed to eject before the crash and is reported to have sustained burn injuries. |

Damn... looks like tumbling around like that would be pretty disorienting. Any experts here that can explain what caused him to get out of formation like that? My guess is the plane stalled, but idk.
