Air First Hospitality & Tours Plane Crash Lands On Street in Lagos, Nigeria
On August 1, 2023, a light single-engine Jabiru J430 airplane, registered as 5N-CCQ and operated by Air First Hospitality & Tours, encountered a critical incident in Lagos, Nigeria. The aircraft was on a test flight with two passengers when it crash-landed into an old communication pole on Oba Akran Avenue, near Ikeja Bus Stop, around 4 pm local time. Despite the fiery aftermath of the crash and the damage sustained, the two individuals aboard the aircraft were rescued and promptly taken to the hospital for treatment. At the time of impact, rainfall helped contain the spread of the fire, likely preventing further damage or injury on the ground.

"Lands" on the street? I guess that's right. I mean, someone jumps out a high rise window, technically they do "land" on the ground.

Perhaps they had a stray kangaroo or wallaby riding in the back, and jumping up and down on the seat. |
