Aerobatic Plane Test Flight Ends with Crash in Lake Near St. Wolfgang

The picture of the plane in a dump truck brought back something I heard about. A guy went to Mexico and bought 2 P-51 Mustangs. He contacted a Mexican shipper and asked if they could transport the 2 aircraft to the U.S. (They were not flyable) Sure thing, Amigo! A week later, they showed up with a dump truck. They had chop-sawed both aircraft into pieces and thrown them all into the dump truck, and then drove them happily to the new owner's home. He was not amused. |
