Four Killed when Helicopter Hits Zipline and Crashes Bursting into Flames

The helicopter clipped a zipline on Jebel Jais, the UAE's tallest mountain, before it went into a tailspin and burst into flames upon crashing into the mountain. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, ordered an immediate investigation into the crash, focusing on the safety and security measures at the site. The crash caused significant concern and grief, prompting a comprehensive review of the operational protocols and safety standards in the area. This incident highlights the risks associated with helicopter rescue operations in challenging environments and the importance of rigorous safety measures in such operations. |
