4 Dead, 3 Injured when Embraer EMB-710C Carioca Crashed
Brazil, A single-engine plane crashed on Thursday afternoon (15) in the urban area of the municipality of Novo Progresso in southwestern Pará, resulting in the death of four people.  Three other occupants of the aircraft were injured in the accident and were directed to the Municipal Hospital.  According to the determination of the Civil Police, the plane PT-prefix NCJ had taken off from a rural mining region of the county to the city's headquarters and the accident would have occurred during the attempted landing of the aircraft.  Witness reported no explosion.  Also according to police, seven people were aboard the single-engine plane and the victims who did not survive their injuries were identified as Paulo Cesar Zamoner, the pilot Weber da Cunha Rebelo (63), his daughter, Lara Mariane Lima Aragon and his grandson, Máymison Gabriel Lima, 9 months old.
