2018 Plaridel Plane Crash: 10 Dead as Piper Hits House in Bulacan, Philippines
At about 11:21 a.m. on March 17, 2018, a six-seat Piper aircraft operated by Lite Air Express, heading to Laoag City, came down roughly a minute after departing Plaridel Airport. It hit a house in Barangay Lumang Bayan, Plaridel, Bulacan, Philippines. Witnesses said the aircraft was flying low when it clipped a tree and a power post, then struck the home and exploded as a family ate inside. The crash killed all five occupants of the plane and five family members on the ground. Civil aviation authorities grounded the operator's full fleet while the investigation was pending. |

Re: 2018 Plaridel Plane Crash: 10 Dead as Piper Hits House in Bulacan, Philippines
When the shit hits the fan, it really hits the fan. According to news reports the Piper 23 Apache twin-engined aircraft stalled soon after takeoff. Fuel contamination, over weight, extremely hot day which equals to a low density atmosphere, combination of all the above? Will have to wait for the results from CAAP’s accident investigators and Flight Safety.
