Re: Are You A Psychopath ?
I'm a Christian, but I'm not selling it or anything. Christianity is a deeply-personal experience once you embrace it. But it's a personal choice and I'm not here to extol its virtues. I just had to disclose that fact to be honest. I also have a friendly-spirit that has attached itself to me. As a youngster, I used to go tend my forefathers' graves with my grandfather. After he passed, I took much solace in visiting their graves. But I moved far, far away from their graves in later years and I missed that. So I found one of the oldest "homesteader" cemeteries around these parts and I'd go there to set up fallen stones, cut noxious weed-bushes, etc. One time, going there after American Independence Day (7/4/13), I went there to see if any stone needed help. All was in order, but I noticed that all the new interments had decorations and the older ones did not. This is a settlers' cemetery, dating back to before the American Civil War. This brought me to tears, as these people had nobody to remember them and decorate their graves. I walked past each stone (many of which are *litterally* stones) and Blessed them, which is all I had to offer them. I couldn't stop tearing as I did so, as I imagined the families that died-off and nobody was around to care for their stones any longer. On one of the last stones I bless, I felt a *strong* presence pushing back on my palm that I could not feel on any other stone I blessed. The stone had a name, ****, but it was mere more than a field stone with a crudely-chiseled name upon it. In the car ride away from that cemetery, I felt that presence still with me. I told it to, more or less, beat it in the name of Jesus Christ. At that time, they did. But they, which turned out to be a she, did follow me home. She's a pretty woman in her late-20s/early-30s named ****. She stays with me and as very much a beneficent spirit. That spirit, ****, is a contributing factor to my new-found peace, IMO. I can't tell you what to do. FFS, if you listen to everyone on the Internet, you'll probably fucking die. A lot of people on the Internet speak as-if they're experts, but they're not. |

Re: Are You A Psychopath ?
Thanks to everyone for doing the test. I did expect that members of Documenting Reality would show higher psychopathic tendencies than the average person, but the results have surprised me. There is indeed a higher psychopathic tendency amongst our members, than compared to the average, but it is not consistent. Equally there are some people here who have very empathetic characters, with low tendencies towards psychopathy. I know many members here have medical / emergency / rescue backgrounds. What I find fascinating is the possibility that 2 opposing traits in somebody's character. (cold psychopathy and warm empathy) can drive 2 very different type of people towards the same career or life decisions. |

Re: Are You A Psychopath ?
The LSRP measures two scales. Scores range from 1 (low) to 5 (high). Your score from primary psychopathy has been calculated as 3.1. Primary psychopathy is the affective aspects of psychopathy; a lack of empathy for other people and tolerance for antisocial orientations. Your score from secondary psychopathy has been calculated as 3.2. Secondary psychopathy is the antisocial aspects of psychopathy; rule breaking and a lack of effort towards socially rewarded behavior. With two scores, results of the LSRP are very suitable for being plotted. Below is the distribution of how other people who have taken this test have scored. You score for primary psychopathy was higher than 76.98% of people who have taken this test. You score for secondary psychopathy was higher than 78.18% of people who have taken this test. |

You score for primary psychopathy was higher than 3.19% of people who have taken this test. You score for secondary psychopathy was higher than 6.9% of people who have taken this test. Lotsa psychos around here. Actually, I have a short temper and some personality quirks, but in the main I'm well-meaning. |
