Re: "The Yard Blues" A Reality Of Drugs And Prostitution
people are so naive . theres this moronic belief in this country that if everyone was smart and if everyone worked hard everyone would be rich. theres only so many slots of success and theres way more slots of poverty . the government allows drugs into the country to keep a certain amount of people from competing in society for the good jobs . if they stopped the flow of drugs in this country half or more of judges, lawyers, cops, fbi, atf, social workers... would be out of the job it would be an economic nightmare . kinda like if american car companies actually started building good cars that weren't meant to breakdown every 3 months it would have a huge effect on our economy auto parts stores mechanic shops would all suffer

Re: "The Yard Blues" A Reality Of Drugs And Prostitution
Drugs are the key to this misery. Went through rehab with a young woman who went from being on top to losing everything because of her crack addiction. She actually hated herself for using but it was all she could do to turn her back on it. Smart girl (Masters degree in biology) but couldn't find her center.
