FUCK!!!! I want every single one of these images hanging around my house. I love them. LOVE. I want to marry them, hump them, fight with them, cook for them, divorce them, but still.... LOVING them.

We would drive around with surplus store gasmasks when I was a teen. edit: Also, when I was in the military, Interspiro made a version of our breathing apparatus that also had a gas mask attachment... why put a gas mask attachment on a positive pressure breathing mask? I HAVE NO IDEA... anyways, they had the charcoal canister on the end of a snorkus and a hook to put the snorkus on which was attached to the head harness of the mask. Flaw #1: the head harness goes UNDER your nomex hood thereby negating the use of the snorkus hook. Flaw #2: the snorkus hook was very fragile and would break if looked at. Flaw #3: the charcoal canister would get suctioned onto your firefighting gear when used. Interspiro for the lose. |
