I've eaten Balut when I was on vacation to the Philippines.
It tastes very similar to a regular hard-boiled egg, but it has the taste of chicken from the fetus.

I personally don't like it because of the texture and how gross it looks (The fetus had feathers! BLEH)
The yolk part is a bit rubbery in my opinion, but apparently the locals find that's the best part (GAG)

They're good with a beer and adding some salt or spicy vinegar to the egg makes it quite tasty, but it's best to eat Balut during the night so you don't see the horrifying image of the...unborn fetus egg.
