Re: Weather Formations

yeah dude, imagine those fire tornadoes the size of the big huricanes.

and for the next pic, i even have a story i wrote when i posted it elsewhere

One day during May 2005 it was storming in Cleeve and I decided to try and video the storms, I went for a walk into the fields and captured some great videos of the hills being cloaked in white light, or the flashes going off behind the hills highlighting the outlines of the hills and trees on top of them.

I returned to the house when it started to piss down and proceeded to make a video in my conservatory, a Flash went off which blinded myself and my friend for 5-10seconds as it was so bright.

This picture is when i stopped the video at the moment of the flash. Mind you it was around 1-am in the morning and dark outside as it was so clouded outside there was no moonlight.

you see the hedge and our garden shed's roof there. the power of nature is pretty amazing.

Re: Weather Formations

Those Fire Tornadoes are really cool to watch but they suck because that's indicative of unstable wind conditions in a wildland fire and the chances of them throwing embers into unburned fuel is high.
