Volcanic Sunsets II - 3rd & 4th May 2010
for more threads like this one : http://www.documentingreality.com/fo...me-line-45276/ After a second surge of ash was thrown into the atmosphere by the Eyjafjallajökull volcano earlier this week, more wonderful sunsets were created. This time the plume of Ash is hanging further west and over ireland, meaning it affected the light more where i'm based... 3rd May 2010 : |

I have seen a glowing orange band of light just above the horizon pretty much every night for the last 3 or so weeks, the glowing orange band remains there for about 2-3hours after sunset.

You know my sky looks like that alot. At sunset here the dust particles reflect the setting sun (some chit like that) and our sunsets our world famous. Purples, pinks. oranges. Gorgeous Gutts |
