Its not a myth about brain size there is nothing wrong with the size of this breeds brains (Pit Bull you ignorant c*cksucker) the growth plates of their skulls don't fuse properly when they're in their adolescents. It happens to all animalia with poor genes, like your mothers.

Sorry I waited so long to answer this crack headed dumb ass. I read about this affliction and you're right this affects all mammals. There was nothing that said that pit bulls where affected more than any other critter. Matter of fact it sounds as if this is more of a human complaint than anything else. What this shit boils down to is the same old tired myth that a pits skull and brain don't fit together and it makes the dogs crazy. This is just another version.
My vet says you need a new vet if your vet is telling you this kind of bull shit.

Great thread and thank you for that. I have a Pit Bull and she is the best dog ever and been with me through thick and thin. My best friend and the only woman that has ever put up with me for any lenth of time. Hence the name Sabbara, listen to the song Sabbara Cadabbara from Black Sabbath and that's her no question. Bicoronal Synostosis isn't some kind of monster brain disease I'm making up to put pit-bulls down, again I LOVE my pit. Yes ask your vet what defunct community college he went to? I'm not going to teach you genetics.
When you inbreed animals undesirable traits come out because double recessive genes are forced to appear where it would normally be recessive in a healthy bloodline (two recessive genes meet = a dominant)
(literally all genetic problems are more present when you see inbreeding like albinoism, heart problems and it just so happens this breed of dogs is highly susceptible to hip displaysia and bicoronal synostosis when inbred and also fyi Dachshunds, another example basset hounds have serious eye problems when they're inbred)
Ill make you a deal raise your children to believe whatever you would like them to believe.
Pit Bulls are an excellent breed to have, the best right behind my Australian Sheppard. But i seen a tame puppy grow to a maniac because of it.

I'm just saying that pits are no more susceptible to this than anything other breed. There is nothing in the information that supports what you say. Ive witnessed this happen the dogs skull didn't form correctly, and I had to help coral my friends dog and had to put his dog down via a vet because it was too aggressive to feed him without it trying to take their fucking hands off, although they're great people, and were never mean to him. Ive looked into it and have knowledge about it because of a experience Ive had sorry, get over yourself a little bit, your just arguing for sport.
