I'm due it in about 6 weeks - an extraction only Dreading it as I was a dental nurse and know exactly what is done. Knowledge can be a bad thing sometimes!! |

that just hurt me, im glad i have never had to get this done. probably would die of heart failure when they brought out the needles.

I have one implant and need two more. The only pain is the initial needle. Once the bone that was fractured in my case was removed and replaced, there really wasn't any pain, although I do have a high tolerance. I have great oral hygience, but, some meds, including birth control pills, which I should have figured out, can destroy your teeth. I'm keeping mine and an implant is as close to natural as you can get. My doctors who did the first one were great. One was a teacher so they took pictures of each step.
