Re: The Tar From 400 Cigarettes

Greatly accelerated for dramatic effect.

I won't deny cigarettes are bad for you, but the average smoker(among my friends/family who smoke, not a big sampling I'll concede) goes through a 1/2 pack to a pay a day.

Assuming a full pack on any given day, that's a years worth of tar in 4 hours.

as well as they are burning the filters too. nothing like melted fibre glass in the mix. but yes smoking is not so good for ya. If you need a vaccume and a bottle of water to tell you that maybe you should take up smoking, or something else that will get you out of the gene pool.

Re: The Tar From 400 Cigarettes

Nice video, kind of informative, but, you got to taek into account, they're burning filters as well, creating more gunk, and also, the "hotter" or "faster" a cigarette burns, the more tar is coming out, that's why when you see some "hottboxed" cigarette it will have "tar" or "gunk coming out of the end of it...if it was took in puffs, and not wholly sucked down, like this experiment is, there would be a noticable difference in the amount of tar than was extracted...but, all in all, still a good vid...would keep people from wanting to start smoking anyways..

I don't know if I can ever smoke another cigarette again... maybe I'll be quitting sooner than intended...

Switch to an e-cig. They're healthier and odor-free.
