Scientists Filmed the Rarest Squid of the Magnapinna Genus at a Depth of 3.3 Km
Thanks to an underwater drone, curious researchers of the Pacific Ocean managed to capture an unusual bigfin squid from the genus Magnapinna at a depth of 3.3 km. A similar aquatic inhabitant with tentacles up to 8 meters long was first recorded more than a century ago in 1907, after which they were lucky enough to document encounters with it only 20 times. |

At the end it looks like he's "ah fuck it's stuck on a rock again" What a weird creature. Deep sea scares the shit out of me. |

Looks like he's just drifting along on the current, with his tentacles deployed in search of yummy things, just floating and chilling.
