A disgruntled walrus drove away Russian tourists by piercing a boat with them.

Travelers near Franz Josef Land swam in the wrong direction and paid with their boat.

A male walrus has his tusks pointing outward at the bottom and a female’s tusks point inward. With this broken tusk it’s hard to tell but it looks like an adolescent male to me. Looking at his tusks there he doesn’t look super old judging by the length. It did looked a bit pissed off though…. Nothing to trifle with…

I had a walrus skull in my collection until I sold it a couple years ago... a buddy who was fishing in Alaska bought it from an Eskimo.
