Rochester Police Officer Frees Baby Skunk from Yogurt Container
Rochester police officer Taylor was called to the 400 block of W. Third Street Sunday for a baby skunk that had its head stuck in an empty yogurt container. The officer drove up to the animal, which was running in circles trying to get the container off its head. In the dashcam, you see the officer creep up to the skunk and quickly pull the container off its head. The officer jumped away, but baby skunks can't spray like the adults do. |

I'm glad the officer was kind enough to help the little guy. |

This police officer, Merlin Taylor had also rescued some baby ducks that fell into a sewer grate some years ago. |
