Makes the Nazis seem civilised in comparison. There is a greater lesson to be learned here too: Japan never apologised and is now loved by much of the world, Germany continues to apologies and is still paying dearly for it.

the "rape" of Nanking didn't happen like people think it did. It was a military offensive which killed some unfortunate civilians. I'm Japanese so I can say that with little bias.  |
