Saw this on the news the other day. The driver did the right thing right up until the end. Instead of stopping, he should have reversed over the cunts chasing him then gone demolition derby all over them. He had his wife and baby in the car, the original accident wasn't his fault, he had every right to protect his family.
Fuck the lot of them, i hope all of those bikers involved get charged.

A biker who was run over by the driver of a Range Rover at an annual street riding event in New York has been left paralysed, according to his wife. Edwin Mieses Jr was participating in the Hollywood Stuntz event where motorcyclists go around the Manhattan area doing tricks, when Alexian Lien, the driver of the Range Rover, ran him over.

Speaking to reporters, his wife, Dayana Mieses, said: "There's no hope for his back. They crushed his spine, they broke it in two different places, so he will be forever, forever paralysed," according to a report on Asiantown. Lien, the company director of British online payments company Moneybookers, fled the scene after the accident, triggering a massive chase as up to 30 bikers went after him.

The dispute began when Lien called the police to report the bikers' erratic behaviour on the road. He then hit one of the motorcylists, causing the rest to hit at his vehicle. This resulted in him speeding off with his family, who were also in the car, knocking several bikers down in the process. At one point, in the video that has been circulating online, a biker can be seen getting off his motorcycle and opening the driver's side door of the SUV, before it sped off again. When the bikers caught up with Lien's car - which contained his wife and two-year-old daughter - two bikers smashed the side windows of the vehicle, dragged him out, and assaulted him.

The 33-year-old reportedly suffered black eyes and other injuries. Police have arrested 15 people and seized 55 motorcycles in connection with the stunt event, but no one has been arrested for the fight with Lien. However, one biker has since been arrested and slapped with three charges for his part in this flashpoint. Christopher Cruz was charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and endangering the welfare of a child. In addition, a second biker has also turned himself in though he was not immediately charged. The authorities have also said that Lien, who fled the scene because he feared for his family's safety, is not expected to be charged, and that they are still seeking information about the other bikers involved. -
