Praying Mantis Eating a Wasp While Being Shagged
Home owner let a praying mantis go in his greenhouse to eat the aphids;... it climbed the wall then started shagging a female that was eating a wasp. He ran inside to try his new macro camera. The female will sometimes eat the male instead of, or during mating so the home owner guessed he thought it was the perfect time for this South African praying mantis in New Zealand. He filmed this today. |

I don't know which one cracked me up the most, your comment or the hilariously dramatic music in the video  Good job for munching the wasp! I usually adore all animals, including insects, but wasps are the exception I just can't stand. They're super aggressive, can attack even when not provoked and are basically just all-around trolls. |

They will eat their own MATES... ....AS they are mating. (Listen to the hilarious (and graphic - in this case anyway) audio book by Gerald Durrell 'My Family and Other Animals) She will be in the middle of mating and eat her mate... and he will actually continue copulating. YES, actually WHILE STILL MATING.  Wow! The male species!? |
