He was SO precious and it killed me to see him suffering. I have learned so much about them since that day, and they are super sweet creatures.

It was suffering and alive, and I could not leave it there to be hit again.  It freaked me out to pick it up but once I wrapped it in the towel and held it, I was totally in love with it! LOLI used to think they were scary, but they really are sweet creatures. They have bad eyesight, which accounts for so many getting hit. I have started feeding several of the local ones that come out at night on my cul de sac. I have a winter home on my front deck for the feral kitties and the possums show up and eat, drink and hang out a bit. They are so damn cute.  Their feet make the cutest paw prints in the snow! LOL
