Re: Patrick Swayze Tribute
Dirty Dancing was my favorite movie as a little girl. My friends and I would 'play' the movie and I always had to be "Baby." He was an incredible actor and it's still incredibly sad that he's gone. Those pics were really bad Diamond, I had never seen them. I think I'm going to try and remember him as he was in Dirty Dancing or Ghost though.

Pancreatic cancer is a very quick killer, it's one of the harder cancers to detect. In most patients, by the time they become symptomatic or realize something's wrong, the cancer's pretty well advanced. |

Re: Patrick Swayze Tribute
my god... between 2006 and 2009, it looks more like he aged 20 to 30 years rather than a little over 2 and one half years. sure, stage make up can help someone look younger as you can see in the difference of 2008 pics but still, what a change in such a short amount of time. scary actually. cancer is a nasty disease. i personally believe that many types are curable but those who have found cures have been shut up through big pharm by bribery or threats because big pharm makes billions of bucks in treating the disease. and often the supposed cures are something that is basically easily attainable that big pharm can not patent. there is more money in treating cancer than curing it. i can't say whether that is good or bad considering our planet is overpopulated as it is although it hits hard when a famous star, a close friend,a family member or some young child dies from it. cancer does not seem to know any boundaries when it strikes. no one absolutely no one is immune. |
