Re: The Moribund [extreme Child Warning!]
America had an asylum similar to this in Pennsylvania. This doc was filmed in 1968. Absolutely heartbreaking: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/YG33HvIKOgQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Re: The Moribund [extreme Child Warning!]
How respectful the filmmakers were to not show the faces of most of the imprisoned! And it is terrifying to see, how similar the attitude of the employees was! |

Re: The Moribund [extreme Child Warning!]
Appalling! Again, I can't watch the entire video. I think the people who work at these places don't give a damn and figure the prisoners can never talk and tell about their abuse. They are not patients. They are discarded people. |

Re: The Moribund [extreme Child Warning!]
Sadly, Feirefiz, you are probably right. If there were some larger and stronger people there, they could possibly get out and spread the word. As we can see from what I watched, most of them either don't know how or cannot walk :( Another poster said the foreign facility is well known. (I'm in the US). I have to check more into the US facility in my own state. Appalling(sp?) also is that prisoners are treated and fed better than these children who did nothing wrong. They did not ask to be born! Rapists, murderers, etc., get at least an hour of daylight a day. They get free medical and dental care! Horrendous! |
