That's what I was thinking. My family has been living in a super small fishing village on the Northern California coast for generations.we get clams about 4 times bigger than those,not sure of the exact type but my dad and granddad always called them washingtons. We have those same razor clams but you need too many for a big chowder. Every Father's Day we go get them and my dad makes the best clam chowder. |
