Re: "Making a Murderer" Steven Avery's Story on Netflix
I watched all 10 hours of the documentary pretty much in one sitting. I was really taken about by what the investigators did. From the press conferences the fuckers gave, to the illegal way they tried to get Brendon Dassey to star as key witness. Neither of these guys had an IQ of over 70. But the one person I wanted to punch through the screen was the first public defender of Brendon Dassey. The fact that this son of bitch hasn't lost his law license and is still practicing really does make me wonder how far down the corruption goes. The fact that another county was brought in to investigate Teresa's murder and the same county that framed Steven Avery was involved (explicitly involved) in the investigation stunk to high heavy. By the time it ended, let's just say my depression had hit rock bottom that something like this could happen and over and over during Avery's trial the question that law enforcement could never be involved in a cover up kept coming up. I honestly wish I'd never seen it. I'm sorry for Brendon Dassey. The interrogation without council or his parents being there was horseshit. The whole damn thing stunk to high heaven. This was something I wish I'd never seen.

Re: "Making a Murderer" Steven Avery's Story on Netflix
Oh my theory is in her brother or exboyfriend. The ex was sketchy af too Tho Steven apparently claims his own brothers were trying to framehim. I won't go in to too many details but he says it was a family dispute of sorts. |

Re: "Making a Murderer" Steven Avery's Story on Netflix
What?! First of all. It wasn't a murder the first time around, it was a rape charge that even the victim apologized for as clearly he wasn't the guy and later the right guy was imprisioned. Secondly, you don't seem to have been the slightest bit informed into the details of the entire investigation so no point in discussing but I'm pretty sure you'll see things are not as black and white as "look what his years in jail did to him" so. |

Re: "Making a Murderer" Steven Avery's Story on Netflix
I am only up to episode six but I thought the brother straight away because of some comments he made. His sister was just missing when he was interviewed but he had to stop himself short a couple of times. He was talking about moving on and I am sure he was about to use the word "closure" but he stopped himself. I am sure he did it or he is involved somehow, she was just missing, why would he use such terminology? I will watch the whole thing and I am sure my opinion may waiver maybe... |

Re: "Making a Murderer" Steven Avery's Story on Netflix
I'm on the 9th episode now and i'm convinced he's innocent at this point, i'll wait to make my final decision at the end though, but at this point, there's too much doubt, too much doesn't add up, too many reasons for the cops to have wanted to frame him.

Re: "Making a Murderer" Steven Avery's Story on Netflix
I just finished the 10 episodes and I'm so angry at these people who told straight face lies on the stand. The patrol officer clearly came across her vehicle on Nov 3rd (two days before it was found on their property). He would not just randomly call that info in to dispatchers while out on patrol if he wasn't looking at the God damn vehicle. Ugh thus whole documentary just made me so mad. I second the thought that this could have been the work of her brother, her ex or her room mate. All have claimed to have dug into her phone records while she was still declared a missing person. Any of the three could have deleted voicemails that could have pointed to another suspect.

Re: "Making a Murderer" Steven Avery's Story on Netflix
lol the documentary does make you really mad. I had a friend go "why did you make me watch this? now i'm just pissed off". But yeah the dispatcher with the license plate was weird as hell! and her brother rubs me the wrong way. He's too quick too judge. He's too quick with everything like he just wants to move on from it. Besides, her coworker said she once was annoyed at a phone call and he asked if he could help and she said some guy was pestering her. 1) Steven did ask for her especifically. Maybe she was nice what clearly is not the case for most of the Manitowoc population. But he always asked through other people. If it was him shouldn't his phone records show a bunch of calls to her? Why did the cops not look into this more? Who's phone was it that insisted on calling her so much to the point it would annoy her? 2) This brings us to my number 2 here. Her ex knew her password. Who's to say he didn't mess with the whole phone? |

I've watched the whole thing too. I don't know, there's evidence they've definitely not mentioned in the series. I think I'll reserve my opinion till some more comes out.
