Re: For the Love of Tanks.

Both tanks have nasty shot traps on the turret front, they'll learn.

Swedish Strv 103 S MBT. Entered service in 1966, has a crew of 3, armed with a 105mm auto loader, about 300 were made.

Re: For the Love of Tanks.

Hahaha those first two are pommy inflatable tanks. Back in WW2 the poms didn't want german spy planes sending back accurate information so they'd set up a bunch of those for the germans to see and then move them around at night. They also made wooden ones too but they were too heavy to move around quickly. Looking at the third pic it seems as though the ruskies had the same idea during the cold war.

Re: For the Love of Tanks.

I remember seeing the Sherman inflatables in books as a kid. I found these same pics last year when I was looking them up.

During the Yugoslav war they made tank cut outs from wood to bolster their numbers and play the bluff game.
