Looks to me like an indoor rabbit. Indoor rabbits will often go into a corner or space where they feel safe, especially if it's within a room they have been given. Looks like some sort of utility room or back kitchen space they adapted for her.
My rabbit loved cold floors, preferred them to any cushions or whatever i put down for him to lay on.

We you able to house train the rabbit? With a litter box or going outside? Was it easy? I want one but not happy about all the chocolates being left behind.

Yeah, he came already litter trained. Most do now really BUT they are easy to train as well.
Rabbits are very clean animals. I used sawdust in my litter trays and sawdust in one part of his cage so he always went in the same place.
Get a lop ear as they are very very clever and mine had the personality of a dog
I miss my bunny a lot, he's only been gone 6 weeks
I think sometime next year i am going to have two mini lop eared bunnies. Black ones

Yes, but when they give birth they make a nest of hair and dry grass, normally they will dig a den. So I guess the owners didnt know she was pregnant.

How can the rabbit dig a den if it's an indoor rabbit?
