Something else to add: These cameras were hand cranked, and had to be cranked at 2 revolutions per second to keep up the correct speed and light to the film. I'm sure you noticed around 3:00 when the film's exposure was "wavy"... This was because by that time the cameraman had cranked the camera over 360 times by then, and the down stroke was faster than the up stroke. Faster=more light, slower=less light.
