Re: Human Face Fish

that's amazing, they do look familiar, in Hong KOng they have a theme park called Ocean Park and it's got this big gold fish pavilion with heaps of different kinds of gold fish so might have seen them in there
It's generally an asian thing but I think it's the japanese who really take it very very serious.

Re: Human Face Fish

Oh yeah, they do! Koi and goldfish were the first domesticated fish. There are some Chinese fish whose lineage has been recorded for almost 1000 years, like in the stud books for horses and dogs. Koi and goldfish are not the same species, though.

In general, goldfish tend to be smaller than koi, and have a greater variety of body shapes, and fin and tail configurations. Koi varieties tend to have a common body shape, but have a greater variety of coloration and color patterns. They also have prominent barbels on the lip. Some goldfish varieties, such as the common goldfish and shubunkin have body shapes and coloration that are similar to koi, and can be difficult to tell apart from koi when immature.

I saw something on tv, I can't even remember what channel or anything. It was about koi and there was an American flying to Japan to buy one for like $3000. Fuck, for $3000 that fish better suck my dick dry.
