Reminds me of the one I found in the shower the other morning. Spiders give me the heebee jeebees. I tossed the weiner dog in there and let him hunt it down. I love my dog.

I would leave the room, get dressed for winter, with zero skin exposed. I wuld come back with Raid and something to hit them with that will be on a three foot pole. I hate spiders |

Although that thing makes my skin crawl, and the hundreds of babies makes me shudder (I love babies, but NOT spider babies), I don't like the fact that our first reaction is to want to kill it. It can't help the fact that it's a spider. It is just living it's life. Why do we all fear spiders so much? I know for me it's because they 'scuttle' and can go absolutely anywhere. Under your bedding. Behind the curtains. Up the walls. On the walls. On your head,  . In the bath. In your shoes. You never know where the creepy things will be next.They are just so scary looking. But I try my best not to kill them. If I can move them I will. If not, then I am not going in that room till they have disappeared. Out of sight, out of mind. |

oh hell NO.... i was sitting on a bed one time leaning up against the wall when my husband came in and said come over here to me but wouldn't tell me why, so i get up and walk towards him and then he said, ok now don't scream, and as he turned me around i saw on the wall right by were my head was a spider( only 1/10 the size of that thing)....i hit the floor like a ton of bricks...fainted....the fear of spiders is great in me...won't go near them...won't even see a movie with spiders in it.... that spider would've gave me a heart attack  |

Ok for starters the spider is called a Wolf spider, it is a female. It is no where near as big as it looks, they grow at most 1.5 inches in length. And the image is actually upside down, it was posted that way for effect and nothing more, what looks like architrave is actually scurting board (the edge between the floor and the wall). Wolf spiders are night hunters and only come indoors after heavy rain or high heat, they carry their offspring in a sack until they hatch then they carry them on their backs until they are old enough to fend for themselves, this mother would have left very soon after the image was taken. |
