Re: Giant Spider with About 1,000 Babies
Not a Huntsman, Huntsman lay their eggs beneath the bark of trees in an egg sack and leave them. Almost all species of Huntsman are lone hunters and do not mother/father their offspring, their is but one species of Huntsman that associate with other Huntsman and they are called communal Huntsman. These communal type live in hollow logs and such, one night my brother in law went camping with his girl and Mick being the brute he is went off to gather wood for the fire, he came back with a massive hollow log and threw it on the fire, because it was night he and his girl didn't know why the ground appeared to be moving, it was all the Huntsman making their escape, Mick and Deb slept on the roof of their car that night :) |
