there are different patterns other than the Fibonacci spiral in the plant kingdom. It is not the only one present and is therefore not a necessary pattern, nor is it evidence of intelligent design (which is what you assholes are trying so hard to do). Whether by evolution or intelligent design, plants have simply developed the best possible solution to meet a need, such as maximizing leaf exposure to sunshine.

Yes, the Fibonacci sequence is not the only one, but all living organisms follow a sequence of one kind or another dictated by their genetic code, in and of itself a sequence that can be approximated with numbers.

yes, but leave science alone and stop trying to connect it to god. science and religion don't mix. there is no intelligent designer which is what fundamentally drove this threads creation. yes, plants and humans are intricate.
